Faustine Dumontier

Artistic director of animation at Fortiche Production

Faustine Dumontier is currently artistic director of animation at Fortiche Production. Since childhood, she has been fascinated by Japan and drawing, which naturally led her to a profession combining these two interests.

After graduating with a BTS in visual communications, she went on to study animation at the Georges Méliès school, where she honed her skills for four years. Her career began in 2016 as a concept artist at Supamonks Studio, followed by modeling experience for a small MacGuff company in 2017. Before joining Fortiche Production, she also worked as a background artist at Sun Creature.

At Fortiche, she first held the position of background artist on the hit series Arcane, as well as on the short films Rise and Enemy. She then rose through the ranks to become lead and artistic supervisor.

She has also recently designed cards for Magic: The Gathering.

In her spare time, Faustine draws on her memories of travels in Japan, Thailand and China to illustrate the adventures of a little witch named Rei and her companions: Dogo the samoyed and the black cat twins, Shiro and Yoru.

She participated in the third ROI Event in 2025.
