
Justine is a Gobelins alumni from promotion 2018.
She discovered the art of Claude Monet during an exhibition in Paris at the Grand Palais, which sparked her love for colors and painting.
She naturally gravitated to background paintings and colorscript during her years at the Gobelins School.
After 4 years there she took part in her first feature as a layout background and color background artist, Calamity by Remi Chayé.
After that she work on The Summit of the Gods, Mars Express, and regular collaborations with famous french studios, such as Passion Paris, Chez Eddy and Wizz Design.
In 2022 she was offered to be a graphic author and lead the background team of the awaited adaptation of Amélie et la Métaphysique des Tubes (Little Amélie). She took a huge part in design the location but especially the colors of this vibrant and endearing depiction of the earliest years of childhood through the eyes of a Belgian girl living in Japan. The film was finished in late 2024. The film was selected to Cannes festival and is now touring numerous movies festivals and events around the world.
Besides her work animation, she developped a strong painting style inspired by her childhood painters heros, the impressionists.
Through her work she wants to capture more than just colors and light, but a feeling of lost memories and sensations.
